Selia Project has brought a distinctive touch to the Novotel Kulonprogo Hotel, Yogyakarta, by making several pieces of furniture using woven synthetic rattan and a combination of wood. The advantages of synthetic rattan which are weather resistant and easy to clean are suitable for this project. The hotel is designed to be warm and traditional using natural materials, and even though the rattan is woven synthetically, it still provides a natural look with warm colors. The hotel’s architecture was designed by Fusionarc, which provides an impressive touch in every detail.
