NJ House

Jakarta

Located in Jakarta and designed by Seranta Studio, NJ House was built by Kadjoe as a refined residential project that highlights thoughtful material application within the dining area.

A key feature of the space is the use of Bambu Lacak rattan, applied on both the wall panels and ceiling to create a cohesive and immersive design statement. Despite its name, Bambu Lacak is a rattan material crafted to achieve a bamboo-like appearance, combining natural aesthetics with durability and precision.

Its finely arranged woven texture introduces warmth and depth, while the integrated warm lighting enhances its pattern and dimension. The result is an elegant dining environment that balances contemporary architecture with rich, natural-inspired detailing.
